…took place last night at CoProsperity Sphere in Bridgeport featuring artist/writer pairs and teams showcasing creative collaboration between Mexico City and Chicago. My partner on the project was the brilliant and graceful Veronica Gerber Bicecci, and we kicked the night off with an essay and set of images called “I Used to Live Here” about how cities can and cannot be archived, as well as how “dibs” works in each of our respective homes:
We also had Poems While You Wait–in the form of Gerardo Cardenas, Eric Plattner, and Shane Zimmer–on hand to provide commissioned poetry–aka Poemas a La Orden–in English and Spanish:
