MAKE…
…a Chicago Literary Magazine is celebrating the release of their eighth issue this Thursday, October 1st at Roots and Culture at 1034 N. Milwaukee from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
I was a contributing nonfiction editor for this issue, but even if I weren’t, I’d go anyway because the $10 suggested donation gets you a copy of the latest greatest newly redesigned issue of MAKE, brief readings from contributors including poems from Rob Schlegel, fiction from Robert Duffer, and nonfiction from Brian Anderson and Emil Ferris, complimentary Irish coffee drinks from Metropolis Coffee, Carolan’s and Tullamore Dew (beer and non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks on hand too), and music from LeRoy Bach and friends. Hope you can MAKE it (badum).
