Or rather, it’s the first day of Rose Metal Press’ 2011 Open Reading Period, lasting from February 15 to March 30. During that window, Abby Beckel and I hope you’ll submit your hybrid/cross-genre (for instance: short short, flash, and micro-fiction; prose poetry, novels-in-verse or book-length linked narrative poems; flash nonfiction or book-length memoirs in shorts; and any other literary works that move beyond traditional genres to find new forms of expression) manuscript of 48 pages or more for us to consider for publication.
