Chicago’s Historic Printers Row…

June 4, 2011 by Kathleen Rooney

…is now mostly full of residential lofts. But once a year, it’s full of the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest, which includes–among many, many other things–an Arts and Poetry Stage…….where I read this afternoon for these people…

…and also these people:

The Fest also includes such panels as “My Family, My Memoir,” which featured Zoe FitzGerald Carter (left) and Cornelia Maude Spelman (center), which I moderated. Check out this write-up by Alba Machado of Literary Chicago for more details. In keeping with tradition, the day also featured an abrupt torrential downpour, but I was in the panel when that happened, so no pictures, I’m afraid; you’ll just have to trust me.
