Last night was the Fourth Annual Blue Light Reading Series held in Bloomington, IN and hosted by Indiana Review. In years past, they’ve held the reading on campus, but this year it took place at The Bishop, a bar and music venue on Walnut Street:
Alissa Nutting was scheduled to read, but US Airways cancelled her flights, so sadly she couldn’t make it. Luckily Stacey Lynn Brown was at the ready to fill in and read along with Kiese Laymon and me. Here we all are doing Q&A after the reading (and before a short set by local band Super Regal), moderated by Indiana Review editor Britt Ashley:
